Bionic planning notes for disc plows
Author:
The surface of the disc plow was planned to mimic the convex bag as well as the pit of the molting mantis, and the concavity was planned based on the geometric features of the dorsal plate of the prothorax of the male molting mantis. Molting mantis specimens were cleaned using an 85% acetone solution, then placed in a 95% alcohol solution and dried naturally. The geometry of the prothoracic dorsal plate was measured with a somatic microscope. For the intention of small identical use, the body surface form has a series of pits and convex packets of the same height and density. It is important to note that the pits and bumps are arranged along concentric circles in order to accommodate the rotational orbit of the disk. This is due to the fact that the main factors to be considered in the distribution of non-lubricated surfaces are the distribution of positive stresses, the selection of non-lubricated bump styles, and the upper loading motion track. In addition, the envelope of the non-lubricated surface can only be continuous and lubricated. In general, all the information about the morphology of the body surface required for bionic planning can be obtained by simple microscopic investigations, which can then be parameterized to simplify the details of the specimen.
